Pirates of the Caribbean 4 Premiere
May 2011 saw the film premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean 4 – On Stranger Tides in London.
Really Creative Media provided outside broadcast support and location management, HD signal distribution to IMAG led displays and technical production. We also provided integration of live and program HD feeds into the venue’s display network and into 14 screens in Vue Cinema over fibre.
Previous film premieres supplied include Water for Elephants, Chalet Girl, and Larry Crowne.

Carmody Groarke at Studio East Dining

Really Creative’s design team were asked to create a timelapse film based around the construction of a pop up restaurant in East London. Located on the roof top overlooking the Olympic 2012 park construction, the pop up restaurant took shape out of scaffolding metalwork and board over five weeks.
Project director Jack James chose a number of wide angled locations to shoot from over the duration, which for the most part were non maintained. “We chose to shoot at a high resolution” comments James, which allowed us room to move in the post production and produced a high definition product.

Pam Ann was in residence at the Vaudeville Theatre as part of her UK tour. Really Creative Media were pleased to supply Hippotizer Media Servers feeding the on stage projections as well as technical installation for the hit comedy show.

Really Creative Media’s video designer Jack James was commissioned to be a part of the creative team for the new touring production of Chess the Musical – Winner of Whatsonstage.com’s award for ‘Best Regional Production 2011′. Directed and choreographed by Craig Revel Horwood, and with a stunning cast of West End stars including James Fox (Fame Academy, Jesus Christ Superstar), Shona White (Wicked), Daniel Koek (West Side Story), Poppy Tierney (Mary Poppins, Aspects of Love, The Witches of Eastwick), James Graeme (The Phantom of the Opera), David Erik (The Phantom of the Opera, Dirty Dancing) and Steve Varnom (The Woman in White) the show has met with superb reviews from the critics.

Armstrong and Miller Live Tour

Prince of Persia Film Premiere

Billed as the largest UK film premiere yet, the UK premiere of Prince of Persia was held in the new Vue Cinema at Westfield London. We were happy to supply the Location Management and Broadcast Support to facilitate the numerous production companies, news teams and live webcasters. Large format LED display screens relaying live images and production content were driven by a Hippotizer Media Server supplied and supported by Really Creative Media.

Really Creative Media were pleased to be involved with the filming of the Earth Hour 2010 project by Knifedge Creative Network for WWF. Image is of Trafalgar Square – London installation during the International Earth Hour.
Earth Hour is a global WWF climate change initiative. Individuals, businesses, governments and communities were invited to turn out their lights for one hour on Saturday March 27, 2010 at 8:30 PM to show their support for action on climate change. The event began in Sydney in 2007, when 2 million people switched off their lights. In 2008, more than 50 million people around the globe participated. In 2009, participation swelled to hundreds of millions as 4159 cities, towns and municipalities in 88 countries and many of the world’s best known landmarks participated.
